Our Story
Daneshmand Magazine is a publication that has been serving the Vancouver area Since 2006. Founded by Moe Emady, who saw a need for a publication that would provide a platform for not only Persians/Iranians living in Vancouver but also all Farsi speaking communities including Afghanis, Tajiks, Turkmen, & Kurds. To give these dignified people a platform to share their unique culture and traditions with Canadians across British Columbia.
Since its launch, Daneshmand magazine has grown in popularity and has become a go-to source for news, culture, and entertainment for all Farsi speakers.
One of the things that sets Daneshmand Magazine apart is its commitment to providing a diverse range of content. The magazine covers a wide range of topics, including news, Sciences, culture, lifestyle, and entertainment. This diverse range of content ensures that there is something for everyone, regardless of their interests.
Daneshmand Magazine has also been successful in connecting with its readers through various events and activities. The magazine has promoted events such as the Norooz Festival, which celebrates the Iranian New Year, and the Mehregan Festival, which celebrates Persian culture and heritage. These events provide an opportunity for members of the Iranian community to come together and celebrate their culture and traditions.
Another way that Daneshmand Magazine has served the Vancouver area is by providing a platform for local businesses to advertise their products and services. The magazine has a dedicated business section that features ads from local businesses, which helps to promote and support the local economy.
In addition to its print publication, Daneshmand Magazine has also established a strong online presence. The magazine’s website features articles, videos, and other content that is updated regularly. This online presence has allowed the magazine to reach a wider audience and has helped to solidify its position as a leading source of information for Iranians in Vancouver and beyond.
Overall, Daneshmand Magazine has done an excellent job of serving the Vancouver area. Its commitment to providing a diverse range of content, connecting with its readers through events and activities, and supporting local businesses has made it a valuable resource for the Iranian community and beyond. As the magazine continues to grow and evolve, it will undoubtedly continue to be an important part of the Vancouver community for many years to come.
